Cookie Policy
This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on walledin.co.uk. Our shop checkout runs on a separate Shopify store (shop.walledin.co.uk), which has its own cookie and privacy notices.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. Some are needed for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used. Under UK law (PECR and UK GDPR) we only set non-essential cookies with your consent.
What we use

PostHog data is hosted in the EU. The Meta Pixel shares data with Meta (Facebook / Instagram) to measure and target advertising. We never sell your data.
Matching you to a Meta account
Meta offers a feature called advanced matching, which we have switched on. Where you give us details such as an email address, phone number, name, or town, county and postcode, a scrambled (hashed) copy of them can be sent to Meta alongside the pixel data. Meta uses this to work out whether the visit belongs to someone with a Meta account, so it can measure our ads more accurately and show them to the right people.
Two things worth being clear about: these details are scrambled before they leave your browser, so we never send Meta a readable copy of them; and none of it happens unless you have clicked Accept — if you reject, the Meta Pixel never loads and nothing is sent. We do not send Meta your date of birth or gender.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept or Reject analytics and advertising cookies. If you reject, neither PostHog nor the Meta Pixel loads. You can change your mind at any time:
